Qatar\u2019s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, stated during a special session moderated by American journalist Tucker Carlson at the 23rd Doha Forum that no regional crisis can be resolved without direct engagement with non-state actors.<\/h6>\n

Kabul 24<\/a>: \u201cYou cannot solve the crises in Afghanistan, Palestine, or anywhere else by sidelining the key players on the ground,\u201d he stressed. \u201cReal solutions only emerge when you talk to everyone, including non-state actors.\u201dSheikh Mohammed revealed that Qatar\u2019s relationship with Hamas began more than a decade ago \u201cat the direct request of the United States\u201d to establish a reliable communication channel with the Palestinian group.<\/p>\n

He also disclosed that the Taliban\u2019s political office in Doha was opened in 2013 \u201cat Washington\u2019s request\u201d to facilitate intra-Afghan negotiations and enable an orderly U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

Defending the transparency of Qatar\u2019s aid to Gaza, he said: \u201cEvery dollar and every form of humanitarian assistance we provided reached the people of Gaza, and the United States is fully aware of the details.<\/p>\n

\u201dHe highlighted Qatar\u2019s tangible mediation achievements, including multiple ceasefires, humanitarian pauses, the release of hostages, and safe evacuation arrangements.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister strongly condemned Israel\u2019s September attack on Qatari facilities in Gaza, calling it \u201can unprecedented violation of diplomatic norms and the ethics of mediation,\u201d adding: \u201cBombarding a neutral mediator is unprecedented and morally indefensible.\u201dSheikh Mohammed placed full responsibility for Gaza\u2019s reconstruction on Israel, stating: \u201cWe will do everything possible to alleviate people\u2019s suffering, but we cannot write the cheque for destruction caused by others.\u201d He criticized global double standards: \u201cIf Russia is expected to rebuild Ukraine, why is the same demand not made of Israel regarding Gaza?\u201dHe categorically rejected any forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza: \u201cThey have the right to remain in their land<\/a>.<\/p>\n

No one has the right to displace or expel them against their will.\u201dThe 23rd Doha Forum, attended by over 5,000 participants from 162 countries\u2014including heads of state, prime ministers, foreign ministers, and global experts\u2014once again solidified Qatar\u2019s role as a neutral platform for addressing the world\u2019s most pressing crises.<\/p>\n
