Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nedim, Afghanistan\u2019s Minister of Higher Education under the Islamic Emirate, stated during a session highlighting the achievements of Kabul University of Medical Sciences that there is currently no form of linguistic, ethnic, or any other type of discrimination within the country\u2019s higher education institutions.<\/h5>\n

kabul 24<\/a>: According to the minister, all citizens of Afghanistan are considered equal children of the nation and have the full right to access educational, scientific, and professional opportunities without any discrimination, enabling them to serve their country and people.Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nedim emphasized: \u201cWhenever competent and deserving individuals are identified, they must be fully supported. There are no linguistic issues here, no ethnic problems, and no other barriers.<\/p>\n

All citizens of Afghanistan<\/a> are true sons and daughters of this land and have the right to serve.\u201dThe minister also strongly advocated for greater support for doctors, describing them as valuable assets and the future of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

He stressed that unnecessary obstacles should not be placed in their path, particularly in small matters, so that their route to becoming professors and advancing in their careers remains open.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he firmly opposed the presence of low-quality or incompetent doctors, stating: \u201cThe lives of people are a trust in the hands of doctors.<\/p>\n

I will never accept that, due to weak or unqualified doctors, the lives of individuals are put at risk.\u201dSeveral university professors expressed varied opinions regarding the minister\u2019s statements.<\/p>\n

Professor Ismail Roshangar, speaking to TOLOnews, said: \u201cAll young people, especially our fellow countrymen, should be able to showcase their talents and fully enjoy their right to education.<\/p>\n

This can serve as a strong structural effort against linguistic and ethnic discrimination in our country.\u201dMinister Nedim further highlighted the importance of providing special support for talented and capable students, promoting coordination among different sectors, fostering a culture of mutual acceptance, and encouraging a spirit of motivation to solve challenges and advance scientific institutions across the country.<\/p>\n

These remarks come as the Ministry of Higher Education continues its efforts to emphasize justice, meritocracy, and equal opportunity in Afghanistan\u2019s education system, aiming to create a fair environment for the progress of all citizens regardless of background.<\/p>\n
