Zabihullah Mujahid, the official spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has called on the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibility and take immediate action to halt Pakistan\u2019s repeated attacks on Afghan territory.<\/h6>\n

kabul 24<\/a>: In a strongly worded statement, Mujahid highlighted a series of recent Pakistani airstrikes and artillery bombardments targeting several border provinces, including Paktika, Paktia, Khost, Kunar, and Nangarhar. He described these operations as \u201cblatant aggression\u201d and a \u201cclear violation of Afghanistan\u2019s sovereignty.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the spokesperson, the attacks have resulted in the deaths and injuries of numerous Afghan civilians, the destruction of homes and civilian infrastructure, and the displacement of hundreds of families.<\/p>\n

Mujahid labeled Pakistan\u2019s actions as \u201cinhumane\u201d and warned that their continuation seriously threatens peace and stability across the region.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson also drew attention to the worsening situation of Afghan migrants in Pakistan. He stated that Pakistani authorities have intensified the forced deportation of hundreds of thousands of Afghans in recent months.<\/p>\n

However, he accused Pakistan of rejecting negotiation and instead escalating military and political pressure. He urged the UN Security Council<\/a> to convene an emergency session, exert decisive pressure on Pakistan, and issue a firm resolution to prevent further violations.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson reminded the Council of its primary mandate to maintain international peace and security, arguing that it cannot remain silent in the face of such clear breaches of international law and human rights.<\/p>\n

The appeal comes amid sharply rising border tensions between the two neighbors.<\/p>\n
