Nooruddin Azizi, Afghanistan\u2019s Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Tursunkulov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, in the presence of Tordakan Sadiqov, Kyrgyzstan\u2019s Ambassador to Kabul.<\/h6>\n

Kabul 24<\/a>: During the meeting, Minister Azizi expressed gratitude for the participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the Afghanistan-Central Asia Consultative Meeting and emphasized the need to expand and strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

He highlighted the importance of utilizing existing opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation.Deputy Foreign Minister Tursunkulov described Afghanistan and KyrgyzstanOpening of Kyrgyzstan&#8217;s Trade House in Kabul: A Key Step in Strengthening Bilateral Economic Ties<\/a> as brotherly nations, noting the deep cultural, historical, and religious commonalities shared by the two peoples.<\/p>\n

He stated that these shared values provide a solid foundation for comprehensive cooperation.Tursunkulov also extended an official invitation to Minister Azizi to visit Kyrgyzstan to explore ways of further developing bilateral ties.Both sides expressed satisfaction over the recent growth in trade volume between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan and stressed their commitment to increasing bilateral trade to one billion US dollars.<\/p>\n

They agreed that removing existing barriers and facilitating commerce would make this target achievable.At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Azizi pointed to ongoing construction and infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan and proposed that large Afghan construction companies and skilled Afghan workforce be utilized in those projects.<\/p>\n

This initiative could create employment opportunities for Afghans while strengthening economic relations.<\/p>\n

The meeting represents a significant step toward enhancing economic ties between Afghanistan and Central Asian countries. Both parties emphasized the continuation of dialogue and the formation of joint working groups to follow up on the agreements reached.<\/p>\n
