The four-day \u201cEconomic Dawn\u201d exhibition is currently underway in Kabul, providing a valuable platform to support entrepreneurs \u2014 especially women \u2014 and promote domestically produced goods in Afghanistan.<\/h6>\n

Kabul 24<\/a>: Organized by UN Women, the Afghanistan Economic Initiative Institute, and several other partner organizations, the event features nearly 120 booths, half of which are managed by women.<\/p>\n

Female entrepreneurs are proudly displaying a wide range of products, including handicrafts, food items, clothing, and consumer goods.<\/p>\n

Rahima, one of the women stallholders, expressed her enthusiasm: \u201cWe are very happy. Our main goal is not just immediate sales; we want to expand our businesses, grow our operations in the provinces, and eventually engage in export and import activities.\u201dAnother participant, Fariba, called on the government to provide more support: \u201cWe hope that facilities will be offered for exhibition costs and stall rents, and that the venue is properly publicized so more people can visit.\u201dThe second day of the exhibition saw strong attendance, particularly from women.<\/p>\n

Many visitors described the event as an excellent opportunity to promote self-reliance and highlight local products. Shakiba, one of the attendees, said: \u201cI am very happy to see that women in our country are making progress and moving toward self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n

Despite the current limitations in education, I urge women to continue on this path.\u201dVisitor Wali Mohammad added: \u201cIt is heartening to see that Afghan women have the ability to produce quality goods and showcase them.<\/p>\n

The government should provide serious support to these businesses.\u201dMale participants also shared positive views. Gul Ajan, one of the male stallholders, noted: \u201cThis exhibition is very good and we hope to achieve strong sales.<\/p>\n

People come, see the products up close, and appreciate their quality.\u201dOrganizers have encouraged citizens to actively participate. Ziauddin Zalmai, one of the event organizers, stated: \u201cFamilies looking to buy can purchase products at reasonable prices.<\/p>\n

This exhibition offers women entrepreneurs an excellent marketing opportunity that can significantly contribute to the growth of their businesses.\u201dIn the current situation in Afghanistan, creating economic opportunities for women and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises is considered one of the most essential needs for reviving the country\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n

Exhibitions like \u201cEconomic Dawn\u201d not only introduce domestic products to the market but also strengthen networking between producers, consumers, and potential markets, paving the way for sustainable economic progress.<\/p>\n

The event demonstrates that, despite numerous challenges, the determination and creativity of Afghan<\/a> women and youth to participate in the economic cycle remain strong. It highlights the need for greater support from both government institutions and international organizations.<\/p>\n
