According to a Bloomberg source familiar with the details, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Kuwaiti air defenses successfully intercepted the incoming ballistic missile, identified as a Fateh-110.<\/p>\n

However, debris and fragments from the intercepted missile struck the base, causing substantial damage on the ground.Reports indicate that approximately five individuals, including U.S. military personnel and contractors from private companies, sustained minor injuries.<\/p>\n
