In parallel with the sharp rise in the return of Afghan migrants from neighboring countries, the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced a significant strengthening of security measures at border crossings and along the Durand Line.<\/h6>\n

kabul 24<\/a>: Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, stated that the main goal of these measures is to prevent the entry of malicious individuals and anti-security elements under the cover of returning migrants.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe are making efforts so that all migrants passing through our territory must go through our security filter. We have had incidents where certain individuals entered through this route, were arrested, and received punishment for their actions.\u201dQani emphasized that security forces are monitoring the situation with full vigilance and will not allow any individual or group to disrupt the country\u2019s overall security.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cWe will not permit malicious individuals with sinister intentions, especially from Pakistan and other neighboring countries, to enter Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

We will arrest them at the border points through our security filters and hold them accountable for their deeds.\u201dThese remarks come as the pace of migrant returns to Afghanistan has accelerated.<\/p>\n

Pakistan and Iran have intensified pressure on undocumented Afghan migrants in recent months, pushing thousands toward the borders. This large-scale return presents both opportunities and serious challenges for Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

Military analysts believe that with such a high volume of people entering the country, implementing strict security procedures at border crossings is essential to prevent the infiltration of suspicious individuals, spies, or terrorist group members.<\/p>\n
