The Governor of Panjshir announced that after five years of Islamic Emirate rule, the province has transformed into a safe and stable region with no active armed opposition groups. He dismissed claims regarding the presence of resistance forces as baseless media propaganda aimed at unsettling public perception.<\/h6>\n

Kabul 24<\/a>: In an exclusive interview with ToloNews, Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the Governor of Panjshir, emphasized that full harmony exists between local residents and the caretaker government.<\/p>\n

Addressing reports about opposition fronts, he stated: “There is no such thing as resistance in Panjshir. These are merely media projects designed to confuse the public mind.”<\/p>\n

The governor also refuted allegations regarding arbitrary arrests and unrecorded detentions within the province. He clarified that during his three-year tenure, no unlawful arrests have taken place, maintaining that any detentions strictly pertain to standard legal proceedings, criminal cases, or court orders.<\/p>\n

Highlighting developmental achievements, Hakim noted that more than 600 reconstruction projects have been successfully implemented across various sectors in Panjshir<\/a>. He added that the established security has boosted local tourism, drawing nearly 300,000 domestic and international tourists to the province over the past year.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing Afghanistan’s progress toward development under a unified system, the Governor of Panjshir reiterated that war is never a viable solution for the country’s challenges.<\/p>\n

Touching upon the economic potential of the region, he revealed that nearly 2,000 emerald mining sites have been identified in Panjshir, with extraction operations actively underway under direct government supervision and local community participation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
