1,008 Engineers Graduate from Kabul Polytechnic University

The Ministry of Higher Education announced today that a formal and dignified graduation ceremony was held at Kabul Polytechnic University, where 1,008 students from various engineering disciplines successfully completed their studies at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.

Kabul 24: According to the Ministry, 757 graduates received their bachelor’s degrees, while 251 earned master’s degrees.

These graduates come from a wide range of engineering fields, including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and other related specializations.

In his address during the ceremony, the Minister of Higher Education, Mawlawi Neda Mohammad Nadeem, congratulated the graduates, their families, and the respected faculty members, while emphasizing the critical role engineers play in the reconstruction and development of the country.The Minister stated:

“The graduation certificate is not merely a piece of paper; it is a great trust placed upon you. You are now responsible before the Islamic Emirate system, Afghan society, and your families. You carry knowledge and skills that can form the solid foundation for the country’s progress and self-reliance.”He further added:

“In the current circumstances of our country, where there is an urgent need for committed and capable specialists in infrastructure, energy, mining, transportation, water management, and urban development, the graduates of Kabul Polytechnic University bear a heavy yet honorable responsibility.

It is expected that these young professionals will place their knowledge at the service of the nation and its people with dedication, integrity, and a spirit of service.”The Minister also stressed the importance of continuous learning, updating technical knowledge, and applying international standards in engineering projects.

He urged the graduates to always remain prepared for scientific and technological advancements.

The graduation ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Higher Education, university professors, families of the graduates, and representatives of relevant institutions.

Kabul Polytechnic University, as one of the leading centers of higher education in technical and engineering disciplines, has successfully trained and graduated hundreds of qualified specialists in recent years and continues to play a vital role in strengthening the country’s technical capacity.
