Kabul 24: Under coach Majid Mortezaie, the Lions of Khorasan crushed Malaysia with a convincing 7-0 victory in their second Group D match of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Indonesia 2026, held at the Jakarta International Velodrome.
The match took place on Friday, January 30, 2026, and marked one of the most impressive displays in Afghanistan futsal history. From the opening whistle, Afghanistan controlled the game with high pressing, flawless defensive organization, and clinical finishing.
