On Monday, June 19, the Afghan embassy in Italy reported this news through Facebook, thanking various entities for extending assistance in the crisis.
The European Union, the United Nations, and the Greek government promptly made efforts to rescue the 104 refugees from the scene and provide them necessary medical assistance.
