Acting PM: Access to Education and Health Services is the Right of Nomads

Acting Prime Minister of IEA meets with nomad elders and influential people to discuss access to education and health services

Kabul 24: Acting Prime Minister of IEA, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, met with several nomad elders and influential people from different provinces to discuss the right of nomads to access education and health services.

The nomadic ethnic influentials expressed their support for the Islamic Emirate and stated that the nomadic people have made countless sacrifices for the country throughout history.

However, no attention has been paid to improving the lives of the nomads in the past few decades. They called on the Islamic Emirate to provide services in education and health sectors to nomads.

Nomad elders share demands with Acting Prime Minister

The tribal elders shared the demands of their people with Acting Prime Minister Kabir. He termed nomads an important part of the country and added that they played an important role in establishing the Islamic system.

The Islamic Emirate will work to address the problems of the nomads fundamentally. Access to educational and health services is the right of nomads, and the Islamic Emirate has given priority to these issues, said Kabir.

Efforts to improve education and health services in Afghanistan

According to Bakhtar News Agency, the Afghan government has been working to improve education and health services in the country.

In 2021, the Ministry of Education launched a new curriculum for primary and secondary schools, which includes new subjects such as civic education, human rights, and peace education.

The Ministry of Public Health has also been working to improve healthcare services in the country. In 2020, the ministry launched a new national health strategy that aims to improve access to healthcare services for all Afghans, especially those living in rural areas.

Islamic Emirate trying to strengthen relations with the nation

The Islamic Emirate has been trying to strengthen its relations with the Afghan people. In May 2023, Acting Prime Minister Kabir met with a number of tribal elders and influential people from different provinces to discuss the current situation in the country.

He stated that the Islamic Emirate is committed to an inclusive government and that those not wanted by the public have no place in the government. He also emphasized the importance of peace and stability in the country.
