Motaghi and the special representatives of China and Pakistan had a conversation

The Foreign Minister says that Acting Foreign Minister Khan Motaghi met with Yu Xiaoyong, China’s special representative for Afghanistan, and Asif Durrani, Pakistan’s special representative, on

the sidelines of the fifth “Moscow Format” meeting. According to Kabul 24; The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a statement on the evening (Saturday, 8 Mizan) that the relations were discussed in this meeting.

In the announcements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, it is stated that Mr. Motaghi described the relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan as friendly and said that in the event of problems between the two sides, they will use media statements to solve them through diplomatic means.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote that the special representative of Pakistan also emphasized that the problems of the two countries should be solved through diplomatic channels.

In the announcement of the ministry, it is stated that the special representative of China praised the bilateral diplomacy of Afghanistan and Pakistan in this meeting and added that his country is ready to increase its assistance to Afghanistan in various fields.

This is the second meeting between Pakistan’s representative and Minister Amir Khan Motaghi after the last border conflict between the two sides, which led to the blocking of the Torkham crossing for nine days.

After this conflict and the blocking of the Torkham crossing, the special representative of Pakistan came to Kabul at the head of a delegation and met with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In this meeting, it was emphasized to solve the problems between the two sides through diplomatic channels.
