Sahra Rezaei Tabatabai University expelled an Afghan student

Iranian lawyer Reza Shafakhah says that “Allameh Tabatabai” University of that country expelled his client Sahra Rezaei, an Afghan student.

According to Kabul 24; Mr. Shafajo, who represented the family of Ms. Sahra Rezaei at the time of her arrest by the Iranian security forces, published a post on X on Wednesday (26 Mizan), and announced her expulsion from Tabatabai University.

He added that Ms. Rezaei was a student of the 7th semester of the journalism department of this university and stressed that “we will continue to protest against this verdict.”

Sahra Rezaei was arrested along with eight other people in the 26th month of last year during the protests against Mehsa Amini’s death. For a long time, there was no information about his fate.

Before this, he announced his freedom in the audio file that was published by the Me Too page.

Confirming this audio file, Ms. Rezaei said that because of her trust in this page, she asked to announce her release through this way.

Recently, a voice attributed to Sahra Rezaei has also been published on the Instagram of “May To Iran”, a women’s rights group. The recording date of this tape has not been determined.

A woman introduces herself as Sahra Rezaei, and says that at the moment “I cannot give information about my place of residence due to security reasons and the events that have happened.” He continued to say, “I am in good health and I am not in prison in the Islamic Republic.”

After about two months, he confirmed in an interview with a number of media that he was released from prison.
