Kabul 24: In addition to advocating for an inclusive government and human rights protection, the OIC’s statement highlighted the following key issues that the Islamic Emirate has been urged to address:

The statement stressed the necessity of upholding the human rights of all Afghans, particularly emphasizing the rights of Afghan girls and women, including their right to education and work. It also called for increased dialogue with the de facto authorities to address these critical issues and emphasized the importance of efforts to tackle challenges related to ethnic groups, terrorism, drugs, and social aspects to achieve sustainable stability.
