1,200 Complaints Registered in 6 Months at Ministry of Virtue and Vice

Abdul Ghafar Farooq, spokesperson for the Ministry of Virtue and Vice, announced that over 1,200 complaints have been filed in the ministry’s Complaint Hearing Commission within the past six months.
Resolution Status of Complaints

Kabul 24: Farooq reported that 170 of these complaints have been resolved, while the remaining cases are still under review. Citizens can submit complaints against Emirate institutions either at the ministry in Kabul or at provincial offices.

Experts emphasize the government’s duty to address citizen grievances and ensure effective oversight of its agencies. Political analyst Salim Paigir stated that governments must respond to societal issues, while Sayed Qaribullah Sadat highlighted the dangers of a society where criticism goes unheard.
