Key Provisions of the Law

Women’s Hijab Regulations
Article 13 mandates that women cover their faces to prevent temptation, labeling loud voices as immodest. Additionally, it prohibits drivers from transporting adult women without a male guardian.
Media and Public Conduct Restrictions
Article 17 restricts media content that contradicts Sharia, while Article 22 prohibits certain behaviors, including wearing ties and friendships with non-believers. These regulations reflect the Taliban’s commitment to enforcing strict interpretations of Islamic law.
