Israeli Military Targets Hezbollah Leadership

The Israeli military announced the elimination of Suhail Hussein Husseini, the commander of Hezbollah’s headquarters, in a strike near Beirut on Tuesday. This operation is part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to counter Hezbollah’s military capabilities.
Escalation of Attacks

Kabul 24: On Monday, Hezbollah launched multiple missile strikes on northern Israel, including a military base south of Haifa and Tiberias, resulting in injuries to at least 12 individuals.

Israel reported that around 190 projectiles crossed into its territory, prompting extensive retaliatory airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon and Beirut’s suburbs123.

Casualties and Displacement

The conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with two Israeli soldiers killed on Monday, raising the military death toll in Lebanon to 11. Lebanon’s health ministry reported numerous deaths, including 10 firefighters from an airstrike on a municipal building. Israeli airstrikes have displaced approximately 1.2 million people in Lebanon since the conflict escalated245.

Warnings and Future Operations

Israeli forces have issued warnings to beachgoers along the Lebanese coast, signaling impending operations against Hezbollah from the sea.
