In this regard, he added: “Most of the major export items are raisins, minerals, fruit juice, cucumbers, talc, non-alcoholic beverages, figs, and onions, and types of imports include thorn wood, wheat, and various types of oil and gas.”
Sergei Shoigu, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia, met with Mullah Baradar, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister, on Monday, the 5th of August, during his trip to Kabul.

The Russian President’s representative for Afghanistan also discussed the expansion of economic, commercial, investment and transit cooperation in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated the topics discussed in this meeting as follows: “He said that soon a high-ranking delegation from his country will travel to Kabul and the officials of the Islamic Emirate will have a high-level discussion about the expansion of cooperation in various sectors.” »
The Chamber of Commerce and Investment has also emphasized that some oil, gas and wheat import contracts have been signed with Russia, but these contracts need to be implemented.
After the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, Russia has been one of the countries that has expanded its economic and trade relations with Afghanistan.
