The members of the Chaman protest movement have announced that they will block the Chaman-Spinboldak road to traffic on December 4 this year.
Kabul 24: According to the members of this movement, the reason for this action is to impose restrictions on the movement of residents on both sides of the supposed border line.
Mohammad Wali, one of the members of this movement, said: “On the 4th, we told the export and import officials not to travel anymore. “On the same date, we will hold a massive demonstration in front of Chaman Military Fort and wait for the elders’ decision on the next steps.”
Hayatullah Afghan, a member of the leadership of the protest movement, said: “Pakistanis and even the world who are afraid of Pashtuns today, the sound of the great emperor Ahmad Shah Baba’s sword is still echoing in their ears. They fear even our brave women like Malala. That’s why we say that they should learn from our history.”
A number of members of the Chaman protest movement have said that the Pakistani security forces even charge them 100,000 Pakistani rupees for transporting the bodies.
Sadiq Khan Achakzai, the spokesman of the Chaman protest movement, said: “Pakistanis receive 100,000 Pakistani kaldars for crossing a path called Mazal Goli, without any documents, even for the bodies.” But we will stand against this serious injustice and continue to fight.”
Azam Khan, another member of the movement’s leadership, said: “The Chaman protest movement has brave people who can challenge any official and demand their rights from him.”
