The ECO meeting in Iran will be held tomorrow without the presence of Afghanistan

The 28th expert meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) has started without the presence of Afghanistan in Mashhad, Iran. The meeting of foreign ministers of ECO member countries will be held tomorrow.

Kabul 24: Iranian media have reported on Monday, 12th of August, that this meeting was held to prepare the agenda of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of this organization.

It should be noted that the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the “Eco” organization will officially begin tomorrow.

According to Iranian media reports, so far the foreign ministers of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and the Secretary General of ECO have arrived in Tehran.

Iran has not invited AA due to the lack of official status of this group’s regime.

It should be mentioned that the ECO organization was created by the initiative of Iran, Turkey and Pakistan, which was later joined by Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan
