As the Islamic Emirate marks its third anniversary in power, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the acting Minister of Defense, emphasizes significant military advancements aimed at safeguarding Afghanistan’s airspace.
Kabul 24: In a recent interview with RTA, Mujahid asserted that the Islamic Emirate’s forces are now fully equipped to respond militarily to any aggression. He stated, “We have made efforts, we are making efforts, and we will continue to do so,” while acknowledging the challenges in precisely estimating when airspace security will be fully achieved.
Assurance of Military Strength
Mujahid assured the Afghan populace of the military’s capability, declaring, “You now have an army that can fully protect your country, your honor, your property, and your borders.” He emphasized the importance of a well-organized army ready to deliver a decisive response to threats.
Call for National Unity
Highlighting the need for unity among citizens, Mujahid urged the population to transcend regional and ethnic differences. He stressed, “We must support one another, be aware of each other’s problems, and understand them,” advocating for a collective approach to national challenges.
