Following the widespread domestic and foreign reactions to the shooting of Afghan migrants by Iranian border guards, Afghanistan announced the appointment of a committee to investigate this incident.
Kabul 24: Today, Thursday, 26, Afghanistan announced that they have appointed a high-level delegation to investigate the killing of Afghan migrants on the Iranian border.
Hamdallah Fitrat; Deputy spokespersons AIt has been announced that Sadr Ibrahim, the Deputy Minister of Interior, is the head of this committee, and the representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, Borders and the Directorate of Intelligence are members of it.
The Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate said in a newsletter that the Prime Minister of this group has asked this delegation to present the results of its investigation into the killing of Afghan immigrants on the border of Iran as soon as possible.
This event has been met with widespread reactions.
Meanwhile, Iran’s human rights media known as “Halavosh” reported that a group of around 300 Afghan immigrants were shot by Iranian border guards, and dozens of them were killed.
This Iranian human rights organization, citing the narrative of the migrants, reported that about 260 people were killed in the firing of the Iranian border guards on the Afghan asylum seekers.
So far, independent sources have not confirmed this statistic and Iran has basically denied it
