Afghanistan’s national futsal team will play two friendly matches against Morocco in July, the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) announced on Saturday. The matches will be held behind closed doors on July 10th and 13th in Morocco.
Kabul 24: The AFF stated that the purpose of these friendlies is to prepare the Afghan team for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan starting on September 14th. This will mark Afghanistan’s first-ever appearance in the Futsal World Cup.
The AFF also confirmed that it will cover the costs associated with these friendly matches.
