The Chinese Embassy in Kabul has announced that this country will donate 30 million yuan, equivalent to 4.1 million dollars, to Afghanistan.
According to Kabul 24; This embassy announced on Sunday (23 Mizan) by publishing a post on X (former Twitter) that this amount of money will be donated to Afghanistan as “emergency humanitarian aid”.
In the announcement of this embassy, it is stated that in addition to this aid, the Red Cross of that country has given 200,000 dollars in cash aid and 500,000 yuan of supplies to Afghanistan.
Before this, China’s aid of 200,000 dollars to Herat earthquake victims was criticized by many users.
Criticizing this amount, users emphasized that China, Afghanistan’s closest economic and political partner and the most important economy in the world, has contributed a small amount to the victims of the Herat earthquake.
After several earthquakes occurred in Herat province in the west of the country, various countries have announced that they will send aid to deal with the situation of the earthquake victims.
Earlier, the United States, the European Union and a number of other countries have also announced their aid to the victims of the Herat earthquake.
