China has announced it will provide emergency medical supplies to Lebanon amid escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
Kabul 24: The China International Development Cooperation Agency confirmed this aid in response to a request from the Lebanese government. Li Ming, a spokesperson, noted that recent explosions and airstrikes have caused significant casualties across Lebanon.
Escalating Conflict
The situation intensified as Hezbollah launched rockets targeting Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city. Israel is poised to expand its military operations into Lebanon, marking one year since the Hamas attack that escalated tensions in the region.
The focus of hostilities has increasingly shifted north, with ongoing exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah since October 8.
