The Ministry of Migrants and Returnees has announced the deportation of hundreds of Afghan refugees from Türkiye.

Kabul 24: The Ministry of Migrants and Returnees published a statement on Sunday, 20 Aqrab, announcing that at least 325 Afghan citizens have been deported from Türkiye.

In the statement of the Ministry of Immigrants and Returnees, it is stated that these immigrants, who had documents and without documents, were transported to the country by air during the last day.

The authorities have welcomed the returnees at the Kabul airport.

The Ministry of Migration has said that the International Organization for Migration has provided legal support and financial assistance equivalent to 150 euros for the returnees.

Türkiye has already expelled Afghan immigrants.

Afghan citizens go to Türkiye to immigrate to European countries or to work.

Shocking reports of harassment and torture and even murder of asylum seekers by the Turkish police have been published.

Meanwhile, Recep Tayyip Erdogan; The President of Türkiye claimed yesterday at the meeting of Turkic countries that Türkiye “stands by its Afghan brothers” and continues to support them.
