The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) held a discussion on Wednesday regarding the upcoming Doha meeting and the IEA’s interactions with the international community. The discussion was conducted by the Strategic Studies Center of the ministry.
Participants Discuss Changes in Doha Meeting Dynamics
Kabul 24: Mohammad Zakir Jalali, the Director of the Third Political Department of the IEA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with employees from various departments and diplomats, participated in the discussion.
Jalali noted that compared to the first and second Doha meetings, a positive change can be observed in the organizers’ and hosts’ interactions with the upcoming third meeting.
IEA Seeks Positive Engagement Without Compromising Independence
Jalali emphasized that the Islamic Emirate aims to maintain positive interactions with the international community. However, he stressed that these interactions should not come at the cost of the IEA’s political independence, religious and national values, or the dignity of the system and homeland.
The discussion highlights the IEA’s efforts to engage with the international community while preserving its principles and sovereignty. As the Doha meeting approaches, the ministry’s focus remains on fostering positive relationships without compromising the nation’s core values and interests.
