The World Food Programme highlighted that the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France has generously contributed 2.7 million euros to Afghanistan.
According to the organization, this aid is designated to be invested nationwide to prevent and treat malnutrition.
Commending this initiative, the World Food Programme has consistently urged countries to support the organization’s mission.
Previously, the organization had voiced concerns about budget constraints affecting its ability to assist the people of Afghanistan. Due to a lack of funds, at least eight million tons were removed from the list of aid recipients in the country.
