14 people died as a result of floods in the country
Kabul 24: The Ministry of Government to deal with natural events reports the death of 14 people as a result of floods in the country in the last three days.
Janan Sayegh, the spokesperson of the ministry, adds that as a result of floods and rains in 14 provinces of the country, 140 houses were destroyed and more than two thousand livestock were lost.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Natural Disasters said: “In the last three days, as a result of the rains, approximately 14 people have died and another person is missing. 140 houses have been completely and partially destroyed.”
At the same time, Mohammad Ashraf Haqshanas, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Works, says that as a result of floods and landslides, some roads in Badakhshan, Takhar, Ghor and Nuristan provinces have been temporarily blocked.
