Haqqani: America was creating division among Afghans to achieve its goals

Anas Haqqani, a senior member of the Islamic Emirate, says that America used divisive politics to achieve its goals in Afghanistan in the last two decades.

Kabul 24: Mr. Haqqani; In a speech to the Al-Arabiya network, he added that now America has failed to divide and create differences among Afghan citizens.

Anas Haqqani said: “These words are related to 24 years ago, when the Americans came to Afghanistan. They used many methods. Now that there is no other option, they are trying to test such approaches that aim to create division and put pressure on the people; But this is not possible and thank God there is no such thing.”

In another part of his speech, he considers the existence of differences of opinion among the officials of the Islamic Emirate to be normal and adds that they do not want this difference of opinions to turn into opposition.

Anas Haqqani said: “There is a difference between disagreement and difference of opinion, and this is a natural thing. We do not want this difference of views to lead to disputes; Because Afghanistan has suffered from division and we witnessed what happened after the victory of Mujahideen. The Mojahedin won and succeeded in defeating the communists and the Soviets; But due to the number of parties, they could not form a government.”

Mr. Haqqani also said that ISIS is trying to challenge the existing security in Afghanistan by deceiving young people in Islamic countries.

He said: “This group, which calls itself the founder of the Islamic Caliphate, uses these methods to deceive the people and youth of Islamic countries, and with these actions, they want to show that there is no security in Afghanistan.”

In another part of his speech, this senior member of the Islamic Emirate emphasizes that now there are big economic projects and interaction with the world, and these developments are worrying for ISIS and those who do not want stability in Afghanistan
