Increased Trust in Afghanistan’s Economy Among Central Asian Neighbors

Nooruddin Azizi, Afghanistan’s Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, said his recent trip to Uzbekistan was different from previous visits, as neighboring countries, especially Central Asian nations, now have more faith in Afghanistan’s production, economy and trade.

Kabul 24: Azizi led a delegation to Uzbekistan to participate in a joint international expo between the two countries.

He noted that the trust of neighboring countries, particularly in Central Asia, in Afghanistan’s economy has increased compared to previous trips.

Azizi called for Uzbekistan to invest in Afghanistan’s oil, gas, and copper mines, highlighting the growing economic ties between the two countries.
