Three days after a deadly earthquake in Herat, the office of the economic deputy of the prime minister announced that Abdul Ghani Baradar had traveled to this province at the head of a delegation to visit the earthquake-affected areas.

According to the statistics of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid (OCHA), 1,23 people have died and 1,663 others have been injured in the Herat earthquake.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid added that a total of 11,585 people were affected by the earthquake in Zindajan, Injil, Golran, Kehsan and Keshk Rabat Sangi districts.
