Only 10% of Afghan immigrants are studying in Iran

Iranian authorities have announced that 10% of Afghan immigrants are studying in this country.

Kabul 24: Nader Yar Ahmadi; The head of the Center for the Affairs of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants of Iran said on Wednesday, 30 Aqrab that at least 10% of the population of Afghan nationals in this country are studying in primary schools.

This Iranian official added that the consumption cost of each Afghan student in this country reaches 42 million Tomans, equivalent to more than 42 thousand Afghanis.

During his visit to Kerman province of Iran, Mr. Yar Ahmadi emphasized that this province suffers from the issue of “foreign citizens in various fields and needs special cooperation”.

This Iranian official said that six million authorized and unauthorized immigrants reside in Iran.

At the same time, he clarified: “All citizens who are unauthorized will be expelled from the country, and unauthorized foreigners have no choice but to leave the country.”

According to him, “every day, more than four thousand Afghan nationals enter the country with valid passports and visas, and their number is increasing day by day.”

Referring to the statistics of those who do not have a certificate in Afghanistan, the head of the Center for the Affairs of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants of Iran said: “One of our problems in Afghanistan is that many people do not have a birth certificate. Illegal foreigners must go and have an original identity in the country. become themselves so that we can welcome them.The legal status of foreigners should be clear in their own country.
