Kabul 24: In a boost for Pakistan, pacer Haris Rauf was included in the squad after he recovered from an injury, having last featured for the side in January. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed confidence in Rauf’s fitness and his ability to play a crucial role alongside other strike bowlers in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
Five Newcomers in the Squad
Abrar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Saim Ayub and Usman Khan will make their maiden appearance in a T20 World Cup. However, Hasan Ali was the prominent absentee from the squad.
