Saudi Arabia’s contribution to the treatment of the blind in Afghanistan

The media of Saudi Arabia have reported on the country’s action to treat the blind in Afghanistan.

Kabul 24: Saudi Arabia’s state news agency has reported that the Royal Relief Organization of this country helps in the treatment of the blind in Afghanistan.

According to this report, these donations are carried out in the framework of projects that are part of Saudi Arabia’s voluntary “Light” project.

In this report, it is stated that so far 4160 blind people have been examined within the framework of these projects and in cooperation with the World Vision Foundation in Afghanistan, and among them, 442 specialized eye surgeries have also been performed.

These eye surgeries were performed with the help of Saudi Arabia in the country from October 27 to November 1.

In a part of this report, it is stated that the Royal Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia has also examined 5120 blind people in Morocco, and among them, glasses have been distributed to 1,500 blind people.

At the same time, 482 specialized eye surgeries were performed on October 24 to 31 within the framework of this organization’s assistance in Morocco
