The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has sent a delegation to Qatar for a four-day meeting in Doha. The delegation is led by IEA spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid and includes representatives from the IEA’s political office in Qatar, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the counter-narcotics deputyship of the Interior Ministry, and Da Afghanistan Bank.
Kabul 24: The main purpose of the visit is to participate in the third UN-sponsored meeting on Afghanistan, which is scheduled to begin on Sunday. The meeting will bring together special representatives of various countries for Afghanistan.
During the visit, the IEA delegation will engage in discussions with the technical advisory group in Doha. The advisory group includes key stakeholders such as the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the Center for Infectious Diseases Control, Rotary International, and representatives from the Gavi administration. The primary focus of the meeting will be on strategies and approaches to eradicate polio in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
