The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) hopes to expand its relations with Iran under the new Iranian government led by President Masoud Pezeshkian. The IEA has a balanced and clear foreign policy approach aimed at establishing good diplomatic relations with all countries. Expanding international relations is a top priority for the IEA.
Kabul 24: The IEA Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated the new Iranian government and expressed hope that the relations between the two neighboring and Muslim countries will be strengthened in various fields.
The IEA wants to expand its trade and transit ties with Iran, and Iran can trade with Central Asia through Afghanistan. Both countries should use their national currencies to increase the level of trade.
The IEA’s foreign policy has remained consistent since it came to power in 2021, with no significant changes in the U.S. foreign policy towards the IEA
