A Turkish drone strike on August 11 killed three members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq, according to Iraqi Kurdistan’s counter-terrorism service.
Kabul 24: The drone targeted a vehicle belonging to the PKK near Sulaimaniya, striking at approximately 15:30 local time. Among the deceased were a senior PKK member, his driver, and a guard. This incident marks the fifth drone attack in the region within a week, highlighting Turkey’s intensified military operations against the PKK, which has been in conflict with the Turkish state since 1984.
