Kabul 24: During the inauguration, Mohammad Ishaq Sahebzada, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Public Health, emphasized efforts to appoint specialist doctors and equip the centers with advanced facilities. He stated, “We are striving to attract skilled personnel and specialists to hospitals in Afghanistan” to enhance healthcare services.
Community Response
Residents welcomed the new centers, expressing the need for improved healthcare. Abdul Khaliq, a local, noted the challenges of accessing distant clinics, while Abdullah expressed happiness over the new clinic’s opening.
Funding and Impact
The medical centers, costing over 31 million Afghanis, were funded by an international organization. According to the Jawzjan Public Health Directorate, this marks the fourth medical center inaugurated in the province’s remote districts in just two days.
