The UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, has urged the Islamic Emirate to engage in the upcoming third Doha meeting on Afghanistan.

Kabul 24: During discussions with Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, DiCarlo emphasized the importance of the Doha meeting as a platform for expanding interactions and enhancing Afghanistan’s international ties. The meeting highlighted the potential benefits of the Islamic Emirate’s involvement in this diplomatic initiative.

The Deputy Prime Minister outlined that the Islamic Emirate’s participation in the meeting is contingent upon the acceptance of the interim government’s demands by the international community.
