Zabihullah Mujahid has rejected Golbedin Hekmatyar’s statements regarding the proposal of a list of people to form an inclusive government in Afghanistan by the United States.
Kabul 24: Mujahid clarified that they have not made any commitment to anyone regarding such government organizations.
Mujahid responded to Hekmatyar’s claims and called for caution in making unconfirmed statements.
Hekmatyar, the leader of Hizb-e-Islami, had previously announced that the United States had proposed a list and asked the Islamic Emirate to form an inclusive government as part of the Doha agreement, and if the Islamic Emirate did not comply with it, it would support the group. The opposition had warned.
Hekmatyar, in a virtual party meeting in Kabul, pointed to the change in tone and position of the United States towards Afghanistan and inferred that countries with strategic interests are involved in the recent anti-Emirate meetings in Moscow, Dushanbe, Vienna and other places.
