Taliban security officials in Faryab say that “unknown armed persons” have killed a woman and injured her mother in Chehlazi district of this province.
Kabul 24: According to the press release of the Taliban Police in Faryab, this incident happened on Friday (28 Mizan) in the “Chaharshanbe” area of the newly established Chehalgazi district.
It is stated in the news report that unknown people entered the house of a widow named Zulikha and wounded her with their firearms and killed her 20-year-old daughter.
According to the news, the armed people managed to escape and the motive of the attack is not clear.
This mother and daughter were the original residents of Tagab district of Badghis province and had been living in the newly established Chehlazi district for some time.
According to the source, the husband of this woman named Gul Khan has been missing for some time.
The source added that Zulikha was accused of murdering Gul Khan by her husband’s brothers. However, according to the source, Golkhan’s brothers shot Zalkhia and her daughter.
The source said that Gul Khan’s brothers wanted to take Zulikha to Badghis province, but he was not ready.
