The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has announced that it has accepted the credentials of the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Badr al-Din Maulana.
Kabul 24: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates announced today (Wednesday) that Saif Abdullah Al-Shamsi, the deputy protocol officer of the Ministry, has accepted the credentials of Badr al-Din Rumi.
Before this, Badr al-Din Maulana was the charge d’affaires of the Islamic Emirate at the Afghan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Badr al-Din Haqqani, the newly accepted ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in the United Arab Emirates, presented his credentials to Saif Abdullah Al Shamsi, the Deputy Protocol Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in this ceremony, Mr. Badruddin Haqqani considered the relations between Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates as historic and expressed his gratitude for the continuous cooperation and assistance of that country to Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdullah Al-Shamsi also expressed hope that Afghanistan’s relations with the United Arab Emirates are “important” and that these bilateral relations will be further strengthened with the appointment of a new ambassador.
After China, the United Arab Emirates is the second country to accept the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
