Afghan Diaspora in California, London, and Oslo Strongly Condemn Pakistan’s Military Attacks on Afghan Soil

A group of Afghan citizens residing in the United States held a gathering in Sacramento, the capital of California, strongly condemning the recent military attacks by Pakistan’s regime on Afghan territory.

Kabul 24: Participants in the meeting issued an official resolution, calling on the international community to thoroughly investigate these aggressions and hold those responsible accountable.

Speakers at the event emphasized that such aggressive military actions not only constitute a clear violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty but also cause severe harm to innocent civilians, destroy critical infrastructure, and seriously threaten regional security and stability.

They warned that the continuation of these cross-border attacks could escalate border tensions and deepen the humanitarian crisis in eastern Afghanistan.

The participants urged international organizations, particularly the United Nations, to pay immediate attention to the security situation along the Durand Line and take effective measures to prevent further incidents while defending the rights of the people.

This gathering took place as, just last week, Afghans living in the United Kingdom organized a large protest march in central London. Demonstrators gathered on London’s main streets, chanting strong anti-aggression slogans and fiercely criticizing Pakistan’s military operations and airstrikes. Carrying placards and images of civilian victims, they highlighted how these attacks have increased tensions, caused displacement of local populations, and inflicted irreparable damage on innocent civilians.

The organizers demanded immediate intervention by the global community and an unconditional halt to these violations. At the same time, a group of Afghans residing in Norway staged a protest rally in front of the Norwegian Parliament building in Oslo.

The protesters strongly condemned Pakistan’s military aggressions and prepared an official resolution, which they sent to the Norwegian Parliament, the United Nations, and the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The resolution stressed the need for an independent investigation into the attacks, protection of civilians, and prevention of violations of international law.

These protests represent a broader wave of reactions from the Afghan diaspora across different parts of the world, expressing deep concern over the border security situation and Pakistan’s cross-border military operations. Many participants believe that the international community’s silence regarding these actions only encourages further violence.

They hope that their collective voice will reach global decision-makers and lead to effective diplomatic pressure to end this cycle of tension and protect the lives of Afghan civilians.

The demonstrations illustrate the strong solidarity of Afghans living abroad with their compatriots facing external threats. They also underscore the urgent need for constructive dialogue and full respect for Afghanistan’s territorial integrity.
