Empowering Women’s Rights in Afghanistan Through Islamic Sharia

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has affirmed that women’s rights in Afghanistan are fully secured and protected according to the principles of Islamic Sharia.

Kabul 24: In response to the ninth meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ministers of Women’s Affairs held in Islamabad, Mujahid expressed appreciation for the organization’s valuable efforts to promote the welfare and prosperity of Islamic countries and Muslim communities.

He highlighted that the Islamic Emirate, guided by respected Islamic scholars, maintains a deep and accurate understanding of women’s rights and Islamic rulings.

Mujahid emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is committed to providing women with all their legitimate rights and needs as outlined by Sharia.

The Emirate views itself as responsible for creating a supportive environment where women can thrive with dignity, respect, and security within the framework of Islamic teachings.

He noted that the Islamic Emirate is composed of knowledgeable Islamic scholars who possess profound insight into the Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and Islamic jurisprudence.
