On the third day of the inaugural season of the Afghanistan Premier Pahlavani League, teams Fath and Qoshtepa delivered outstanding performances to secure impressive victories.
Kabul 24: The competitions continued on Wednesday in Kabul, where the country’s top wrestlers showcased their skills, strength, and determination in front of the audience.In the first team match, Spin Ghar faced Fath.
The encounter began with a strong start for Spin Ghar as Farzad Chile Bagh defeated Qareebullah Kazemi of Fath in the 57kg category.
However, Fath responded powerfully in the next two bouts. Mohammad Ali Turkmen Wal outclassed Soheil Mirzaei in the 61kg weight class, and Siavash Samani defeated Abdul Sattar Ilmiyar in the 65kg division.
With these two crucial wins, Fath turned the tide and clinched the team victory.In the second team encounter, Kahkashan competed against Qoshtepa.
Kahkashan took an early lead when Mohammad Ramz Ahmadi beat Bilal Hakimi in the 57kg bout. Despite this promising start, Qoshtepa quickly took control of the match and dominated the remaining contests, winning five bouts in a row.
Masiullah Nazari defeated Morteza Rostami in the 61kg category, while Najib Hassani overcame Jawad in the 65kg division.
In the heavier weight classes, Shams Qureshi triumphed over Shir Hossein at 70kg, Romel Rajabi defeated Mohammad Hadi at 74kg, and Osman Azimi sealed the dominant victory by beating Farhad Haidari in the 79kg bout.
Qoshtepa’s convincing performance highlighted their depth and strength across multiple weight divisions.The Premier Pahlavani League of Afghanistan is continuing in Kabul, with clubs from across the country battling for the championship title of the inaugural season.
