The exhibition of Afghanistan’s products and manufactures was officially inaugurated in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, with the participation of Nuruddin Azizi, Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Seryk Zhumangarin, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy, alongside local authorities, traders, and investors from both countries.
Kabul 24: The event aims to showcase Afghanistan’s production capabilities and expand economic and trade relations between the two nations.According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Minister Azizi expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s cooperation in organizing the exhibition.
He highlighted that the event provides an opportunity to display Afghanistan’s production capacities in sectors such as agriculture, food industries, handmade carpets, precious stones, and construction materials.
Azizi emphasized that Afghanistan is ready to export its diverse products to Kazakhstan and other regional markets, adding that the exhibition could serve as a platform for enhancing bilateral cooperation and creating new trade opportunities.
Dozens of Afghan companies are showcasing their domestic products at the exhibition, which will continue until October 30, 2025.
The displayed items include agricultural goods, processed food products, handmade carpets, precious stones, and construction materials, reflecting the diversity and quality of Afghan manufactures.
Kazakh authorities and traders welcomed the exhibition, stressing the importance of expanding bilateral trade relations. They called for the establishment of new trade routes and increased economic exchanges between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
The exhibition not only provides a platform to introduce Afghan products to international markets but also has the potential to attract foreign investment and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.Such events demonstrate Afghanistan’s commitment to expanding its presence in regional and global markets.
