The fifth and deciding set was pure sports drama: Afghanistan led midway, only for Turkmenistan to mount a lightning comeback with airtight defense and decisive spikes, clinching the title.
En route to the final, Afghanistan delivered a stellar performance, crushing Bangladesh, Nepal, and Maldives to top their group and punch their ticket to the championship match. These results highlight the rapid rise of Afghan volleyball on the regional stage.
The six-nation tournament—featuring Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka—kicked off on October 22 in Dhaka.
