According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Third Afghan-Kazakh Business Forum, scheduled from October 25 to 30, 2025, in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, will feature a business networking conference, bilateral trade meetings, and an exhibition of Afghan products.

The event aims to strengthen trade ties, explore investment opportunities, and showcase Afghanistan’s production and export capabilities to regional and international markets.

The exhibition will display a diverse range of Afghan products, including handwoven carpets, handicrafts, food items, non-alcoholic and energy drinks, iron products, and dried fruits.

This platform is expected to highlight Afghanistan’s productive capacity, attract foreign investors, and foster new trade agreements, further enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations.

The statement noted that approximately 200 private sector representatives from Afghanistan, both from within the country and abroad, are accompanying Minister Azizi.

This significant participation underscores Afghanistan’s commitment to expanding trade relations with Kazakhstan and leveraging its economic potential.

The business forum serves as a vital opportunity for Afghanistan to promote its high-quality products and develop export markets.

It is anticipated that the event and related activities will pave the way for new economic partnerships and strengthen bilateral trade ties between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.
